Colour Cozy by Digcy · Last updated 7 November 2026

Colour Cozy is a coloring app for a mixed audience of children and adults. We built it to collect as little as possible. This page explains what happens to data when you use the app.

No accounts, your progress stays on your phone

You don't sign up and we don't ask for your name, email or photos. Your pictures, coins, gems, unlocked colors and progress are saved only on your device. We do not run our own servers for the app and we never receive your pictures.

The age question

When you first open the app we ask for the year you were born. The answer stays on your device. It decides how ads work: players who say they are under 13 only get child-directed, non-personalised ads, and we don't show them the consent form or the special offer pop-up. Purchases and outside links for them are behind a grown-up check.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: videos you choose to watch for a reward, and an occasional full-screen ad after a finished picture. There are no banners. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location from your IP address, app interactions and diagnostics to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud.

Purchases (Google Play)

In-app purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Google tells the app which items you own so we can unlock them and restore them on a new phone.

Saving and sharing

When you tap Save, the picture goes into your phone's gallery. When you tap Share, your phone's share sheet opens and you choose where it goes. The app does not read your gallery.

Analytics

The app counts a few events (for example, pictures finished and rewards claimed) on your device to balance the game. These counts are not sent to us.

Children

We follow Google Play's Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and think something is wrong, write to us and we will help.

Deleting your data

Open Settings in the app and tap "Delete my data", or uninstall the app. See how to delete your data.
